Client: Residential Customer (Confidential)
Location: Kanpur
Project Date: Oct 2025
Application: Residential Solar Energy Storage & Backup System
The customer owned a large residential property with a peak power demand of 20–22 kW and a regular operating load of 10–12 kW. While a 20 kW rooftop solar system was already installed, the customer wanted a robust energy storage solution to maximize solar utilization and ensure uninterrupted power availability during grid outages.
Powerstorm Technology designed and supplied an 80 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) Energy Storage System integrated with dual hybrid solar inverters.
Parameter Specification:
Solar Capacity: 20 kW Rooftop Solar Plant
Battery Pack Capacity: 51.2V 100Ah
Number of Battery Packs:16 Nos.
Total Battery Capacity: 81.92 kWh
Battery Chemistry: LiFePO₄
Inverters : 2 × 12 kW Galaxy 12K Version 7G PRO (Cellcronic)
Inverter Configuration: Parallel Operation
Total Inverter Capacity: 24 kW
Battery Management: Smart Integrated BMS with Active Balancing
The system consists of 16 lithium battery packs connected in parallel, providing a total usable storage capacity of approximately 80 kWh. Two Galaxy 12K Version 7G PRO Hybrid Solar Inverters were configured in parallel to deliver a combined output capacity of 24 kW.
The solution enables efficient solar energy storage during daytime and automatic power supply to household loads during evening hours or utility outages.
